“Big Jim” started his career over 40 years ago after graduating from Ohio Diesel Tech in Cleveland OH. Jim Started as a diesel mechanic working on over the road trucks and school buses. As his customer base began to grow, he made the decision to start his own company Countryside Truck Service out of his 2-bay home garage. A local fire department inquired about some repair work on their apparatus and word began to travel between departments. Today CTS works with over 40 fire departments in the surrounding areas. Outside of work Jim loves to take his 67′ Chevelle to car shows and continues to take care of the family farm.

Jim’s wife Laura has been assisting Countryside since the beginning. Laura has managed all office operations and continues to make sure CTS stays organized and efficient. Outside of work Laura loves babysitting her grandson, gardening and also taking care of the family farm.

Jimmy started his career at a young age assisting his father on the family farm and working around the home shop. After high school Jimmy went off to college, but eventually made the decision to move back home and work in the family business. Jimmy has been working at Countryside for over 10 years, learning the business to one day take over the operations. Outside of work Jimmy loves to travel and go camping with his family and go snowboarding out west.

Kira is working alongside Laura learning the ins and outs of the company to one day take over office operations. Outside of work she also loves traveling with the family, gardening and snowboarding.
